Please see the attached files and message from Peggy Mancuso at the GCB in regards to how the process works and if you have a desire to be part of the process.
The Minnesota Gambling Control Board is requesting comments on possible rule amendments governing lawful gambling, primarily concerning electronic gaming. With four years of electronic gaming experience, and with electronic sales and activity increasing, the Board sees the need to provide further clarification and regulatory effort involving the design of electronic games, the play of electronic games, and the information and records maintained. There may or may not be non-electronic rule provisions clarified.
As PAC members of a previous rules process, I am attaching a Request for Comments for this upcoming rules process. The Request will be published in the Monday, October 3, 2016, State Register. Written comments will be accepted until 4:30 p.m. on Monday, October 31, 2016; please direct written comments to me.
If you would like to participate on this PAC, please email to me your name, who you represent, and your contact information (phone number and the email address where you would like communications). Please communicate this invitation to those you feel may be interested in this rulemaking process.
Because the Board is still seeking comments, a draft of the possible rule amendments has not been prepared. However, when prepared, a draft will be mailed to the PAC and also posted at www.mn.gov/gcb.
