Results of contacts with candidates in regards to tax reform

After being briefed on the current tax structure for charitable gaming candidates were asked if they agree that reform is needed for gaming charities.  If they answered yes, and if elected, would they author a bill for tax reform for gaming charities.  Reported results are below.  Please e-mail alliedcharitiesmn@gmail.com with your results.

Senate District 9 - Senator Paul Gazelka Yes, Yes.

Senate District 10 - Senator Carrie Ruud Yes, Yes.

Representative District 10 A - Representative Josh Heintzman Yes, Yes.

Representative District 10 A - Candidate Quinn Nystrom Does not know much about charitable gambling, but interested in learning more.

Senate District 34 - Senator Warren Limmer Yes, Yes.  Candidate Bonnie Westlin No Response.

Representative District 34 B - Representative Dennis Smith Will consider after election.  Candidate Kristin Bahner responded that she is researching the issue.
